Richmond VizWhizz planned for April 13th
On the last Viz Whiz an Easter walk seems like a good idea - how does Easter Monday the 13th April at 10.00 am sound to everybody? can either meet in Pembroke Lodge in the Park or the Dysart Pub right next to the Park if anyone has a preference? Dysart has public transport option albeit a bus from Richmond station and the option of a lunch afterwards, Pembroke lodge may be easier to drive to (marginally) but does have a snack bar/refreshments.

January 2009 Richmond Vizzwizz
The 11th January saw the biggest group yet gather in Richmond Park. With the usual comings and goings, estimates were between 30 and 35 dogs - it's always hard to count as they tend to look the same and move around a lot!
£63 was raised for Vizsla Rescue, a huge thanks to all who attended and gave so generously.

Richmond VizWiz
Just before Christmas we managed to sneak one more walk in. Quite a few people turned up, and it was really nice to see so many new faces and put face to tag name on the Vizsla discussion group. Only thing is, this was well before our discussion group was about to close and I (with quite a few others) agreed to help with this blog, so we need to have more pics donated from the day....
The walk was short (for some) and lots of fun. I realised however that Vizslas are even cleverer than we think, read on.
I admit that i temporarily lost my V (i seem to remember i wasn't the only one that day) but worst of all: i didn't even notice!!!!! it wasn't for long, but long enough, and my only excuse is that i was mesmerised by Susie's Chocie. Payman and I took her over from Susie that day to have a rest from our own hooligans. Payman (Olive's owner - Olive was in the front with Ali) and I were rather slow to the back behind everyone else as we were debating methods of heel walking so intensly that Vigo clearlt felt she had to take action and protest by walking off with someone else .....
so 10 minutes later i get a call "do you have a red dog?" "woops". Vigo later confessed that she needed much more attention else she'd choose another owner. In exchange she walked so well on heel that i had to look twice to make sure this was really Vigo.
I think Susie thought Payman and I had taken Chocie hostage for we were so far behind.....when we finally caught up most people had gone to do a bit of Christmas shopping.
